When you’re cutting out those carbs, this is a great meal for a low calorie intake with lots of flavor.

Ingredients
  • 2 Cups Greens
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey
  • 1 Tbsp Steak Seasoning
  • 1 Clove Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Red Onion, chopped
  • Toppings: Avocado, Chopped Bacon, Pickles, Tomatoes, Etc
Cooking Instructions
  1. Chop the toppings ingredients and set aside until ready to plate.
  2. Cook the ground turkey and red onions to entirety. Once fully cooked, stir in the minced garlic and steak seasoning. Stir for 1-2 more minutes.
  3. Place 1 Cup of greens on a plate. Top with cooked turkey mixture, and all the pre-chopped ingredients.
  4. Drizzle with your favorite burger sauce.

How to serve this dish

Serve as a prepared salad.

Notes

I like to make my own thousand island sauce from scratch to drizzle on top of the salad as a “dressing”.

 

I also add mushrooms to the meat while cooking.
